Small Business Saturday was first observed in the United States on November 27, 2010. The Idea behind Small Business Saturday is to boost the local economy. Some local businesses run sales and specials on Small Business Saturday much like the big-name stores do on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Come out and support our local business. Shop Small Business to grow your community.
Christmas in the Park is on December 9th from 4PM until 7PM. We have a lot of entertainment along with vendors in the square. Come see us as we take over the square for Santa.

Do you need a space to rent? Maybe you just don’t have enough room in your home to host a Family Christmas or birthday party. Or maybe your business needs space for a meeting. We have space for you to host your event. John Jensen Community Room has two bathrooms along with a kitchen unfortunately it doesn’t have a stove in it. The room is now handicapped accessible as well. This room is nicely priced for the amenities it comes with. If you would like more information on this community room, please contact the chamber at email@example.com
The Cookie Walk has become a favorite tradition among those Hammondsport holidayers and locals. When you purchase your tin, you get the opportunity to travel to around 25 local businesses and collect an individually wrapped cookie made by the business. This gives you a chance to see some of our local businesses and even shop for some Christmas Presents.
This year’s Halloween had a wonderful turnout.
The kids loved dancing with the Witches in Pulteney Square. Once the dance was over the Children ran to gather as many treats as they could. Each Child left with a wonder smile on their faced and the Halloween spirt in their hearts. Thank you to all that volunteered to make this tradition as wonderful as it could be.
