Hammondsport, NY – The Hammondsport Alumni Association is honored to host the 3rd annual “Lakeropoly” in Hammondsport Central School gymnasium this year. Spectators are welcome to attend in order to cheer on their favorite class while eight alumni teams from the following graduating classes 1972, 1978, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2008 and 2024, play on a life size game board. The date is set for Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 1pm-3pm.
Hammondsport Festival of Craft August 17th & 18th
Hammondsport Festival of Crafts will be held on August 17&18, 2024. It will host a diverse group of artisans and crafters displaying and selling a wide variety of items. The vendors will include photographers, quilters, potters, leatherworkers, candle makers, jewelry artisans, floral designers, woodworkers, artists, gourmet food vendors, and many more. Hours: 10am-5pm
Do you need a space to rent? Maybe you just don’t have enough room in your home to host a Family Christmas or birthday party. Or maybe your business needs space for a meeting. We have space for you to host your event. John Jensen Community Room has two bathrooms along with a kitchen unfortunately it doesn’t have a stove in it. The room is now handicapped accessible as well. This room is nicely priced for the amenities it comes with. Our Chamber of Commerce strives to bring together businesses and the community through networking, events, and economic initiatives by...
- Providing a Visitor Center for tourists and residents to learn about the area and to drive traffic to our member businesses.
- Hosting public festivals and events, while also coordinating intimate networking events to stimulate commerce in the area.
- Developing and spearheading a number of programs to benefit members and increase their reach and marketing visibility.
- Operating a home office for member businesses to contact as a resource for assistance with all their commercial needs.
