This post comes to us by way of Hunt Country Vineyards, and gives a great overview of potential food pairings to explore with sparkling wine this summer. Winemaker Chris Hosbach shares his thoughts on some unique food options, in addition to his further recommendations on what to look for in a sparkling wine.
We were recently invited to experience a new event at Dr. Frank Wines. We enjoyed it. :)

Are you in need of part-time or full-time employees at your business this summer and beyond? Replacing the Annual Job Fair, the Chamber is now hosting Keuka Lake Jobs Week! Taking place between April 22 - April 29, this new digital campaign will highlight jobs that are available at Chamber member businesses, and it’s free for members to participate. In addition to making it as quick and easy as possible for businesses, we expect the online format of the program will reach many more job-seekers across social media.
If you are a Chamber member, all you need to do is send us your job openings and leave the rest to us! We will officially launch our new “Help Wanted” page on our website on April 22nd at hammondsport.org/helpwanted, which will list all submitted member job openings and link directly back to that business. Participants will also receive a designated job openings post in our new "Job Openings" tab on our Facebook page. We’ll heavily market this digital campaign and its participants on our social media channels, e-mail campaigns, website, and more -- bringing you the help you need to have another successful summer on Keuka Lake.
This program is FREE for all Chamber members moving forward, as part of membership. The Help Wanted area of our website will be a year-round resource for member businesses and job seekers to use throughout the year.
Please contact the office at (607) 569-2989 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Calling all submissions for blog and social media content! If you are an area expert or a travel blogger who has covered the area, please contact the Chamber if you would like to submit your work to be featured here on our News blog and/or social media channels. We look forward to hearing from you!
Each May, the U.S. Travel Association celebrates National Travel & Tourism Week as a way of acknowledging how important Travel and Tourism is to the local economy. This year National Travel & Tourism Week runs May 1st - 7th, during which time Corning and the Southern Finger Lakes will offer a printable National Travel & Tourism Week Savings Passport targeted to local residents who are encouraged to visit participating businesses and present a printed version of the pass, or display it on their smartphones, for special offers.
Making locals aware of what there is to do in their own hometown helps create ambassadors of our destination while also developing local pride. We encourage your business to participate in this special promotion to help increase local awareness of the great attractions in Corning and the Southern Finger which make it a world-class destination.
Please send your special offer by Friday, April 8, 2016 to email@example.com.
