Beginning this year, the Chamber has begun publishing an expanded business directory and village + lake map combo brochure to help locals and visitors easily locate and contact Chamber member businesses. Join the Chamber and we will literally put you on the map!
VISITOR CENTER PRESENCE & REFERRALS. Our Visitor Center enjoys over 15,000 walk-in visitors each year. Much of this foot traffic consists of people looking for information about things to do and services they need. By joining the Chamber, you’re entitled to have your promotional rack cards on the showroom for people to see and take. The Visitor Center staff works to refer these potential customers exclusively to the members of the Chamber — join the Chamber and let us work for you!
PROGRAMS TO OPTIMIZE YOUR BUSINESS. As a Chamber member, you are entitled to access our elective services to further optimize your commercial impact. Call the office at 607.569.2989 to learn more about our cooperative info packet program (we will mail your brochures to incoming visitors to the area), the Small Business Saturday shopping initiative, annual Job Fair, Visitor Center kiosk / Main Street Sign / Elmira Airport advertising opportunities, the Chamber gift certificate program (become a business that accepts Chamber Bucks), and health & dental insurance plan consultations. Chamber members receive exclusive or discounted access to all Chamber programs.
NETWORKING EVENTS. At least once monthly, the Chamber hosts networking events for our members to socialize and discuss ways to coordinate better cooperative efforts to benefit individual and also overall commercial strength of our area. Events are hosted in a social (Business After Hours and Annual Membership Meeting), presentation (Chamber Networking Breakfast), and workshop (Brown Bag Luncheon and business webinars) format. We welcome your attendance and input!
